I’m a bartender and all that he has said is very true. What I have to say to justify his last tip is that: At the end of the day, you are tired – bartending is very hard labour mentally and physically – you have been serving and listening to people for hours on end and the last thing you want to do is having to call some dumb btch who insulted you by leaving a minute tip after having spent a massive amount on booze.

Yea I completely agree with everything you said. Some dude ordered 5 drinks from me and didn’t tip me a penny! then proceeded to ask for my number, facebook, and e-mail. All of you leaving negative comments should try being on the other side of the bar. He’s right when you don’t leave at least your 15%, it really does show that you don’t know how to go out properly.
